Department of Labor Awards API CONTRACT to operate Shriver Job Corps Center

(DEVENS, Massachusetts) – Alternate Perspectives, Inc. (API), a certified Woman-Owned Small Business, is pleased to announce the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has awarded API a five-year contract to operate the Shriver Job Corps Center in Devens, Massachusetts effective December 1, 2016.  API will be the lead contractor and Management & Training Corporation will serve as sub-contractor.

Job Corps is a federal program administered by the DOL and operated by companies like API and MTC. The Shriver Job Corps Center is one of 125 centers in the country. The Shriver Job Corps Center will serve 300 students, and will offer training in a variety of areas including automotive, certified nursing assistant, carpentry, cement masonry, painting, computer technician, advanced computer support, office administration, culinary arts, security and protective services, and advanced training transportation service.
